A standard Whopper, only here it’s served in a jet-black sesame seed bun for Halloween. Inside is the usual flame-grilled beef patty with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup and mayo, so the build follows Burger King’s regular formula rather than changing the filling. What sets it apart is the bun, which gets its dark colour from food colouring. In Burger King’s UK lineup, it sits closer to a seasonal costume than a new recipe, using the familiar Whopper stack and swapping in a limited-edition bun for the occasion.
