Bacon and Cheese Wrap

What is it?

Back bacon and melted cheese sit inside a tortilla wrap, then get toasted so the filling comes out warm and compact. It’s a breakfast item in Greggs’ lineup, using the same sort of savoury filling you’d find in a roll or baguette, but with a softer, folded shell instead of bread. Because it’s toasted, the cheese softens and starts to cling to the bacon rather than sitting separately. That gives it a different texture from the chain’s open breakfast sandwiches, with the wrap holding everything together from edge to edge.
