Sweet mango carrying warm spice, with a little chilli behind it. Masala means a spice blend rather than any single flavour, so what it brings here is warmth and aroma more than heat. Mango and chilli is a long-standing pairing across South Asian cooking, where unripe mango is used for sourness and ripe mango for sweetness against spice. Using the sweet side of that in a dip puts it closer to a chutney than to the barbecue and ranch options sitting next to it. KFC UK has been drawing on Indian flavours elsewhere on the menu, including the Tandoori Zinger Crispy Naan that ran through the summer of 2026, so this is part of a wider direction rather than a one-off. One of nine dips added to the KFC core menu nationwide on 15 June 2026.
