The Big Arch with bacon on it. The base burger is McDonald's largest permanent build in the UK, with two beef patties, cheese, onions, pickles, lettuce and the dedicated Big Arch sauce in a sesame bun, and this version adds bacon to that stack. The Big Arch itself was launched internationally before the United States got it, which is unusual for a McDonald's burger and made it a talking point in trade coverage. Adding a bacon variant is the standard McDonald's method for extending a burger's run without designing a new one, and the same approach produced the Double Big Mac with Bacon already on the UK menu. Listed as a limited-time item on the September 2026 UK menu rather than a permanent addition, which puts it in the same bracket as the seasonal wraps and the hot honey range that ran through the summer.
Twenty-six new items across four chains in five days. Buffalo chicken at Greggs, hot honey at Domino's, nine dips at KFC and another rotation at McDonald's. All of it, with prices.
