The standard McNugget build of 100% chicken breast meat in a crispy coating, with black pepper and garlic worked into the seasoning. The heat is peppery rather than chilli-led, which puts it somewhere between the original McNugget and the Spicy Chicken McNuggets that sit alongside it on the UK menu. Pairing it with a sweet and sour dip rather than a hotter one is a deliberate contrast. The garlic carries a savoury weight that the sweet dip cuts through, and it's the same logic McDonald's used when it kept sweet and sour on the menu as the default nugget sauce for decades. Sold in 6, 9 and 20-piece Sharebox portions, and available in restaurants and on McDelivery.
