Sprite Zero with green apple syrup stirred through it. Green apple is a sharper, more sour take on apple than the juice McDonald's already sells, and it works against the lemon-lime base rather than getting lost in it. The X in the name is how McDonald's UK has been labelling its syrup-and-Sprite combinations, marking the drink as a mix rather than a standalone product. It's a cheap way to extend a drinks menu, since the base and the ice are already on site and only the syrup changes. Paired on the menu with the Sour Cherry Fizz, and both sit in the limited-time section rather than the permanent soft drinks list. Added to the UK menu for September 2026.
