Honey with chilli heat behind it, sold as a standalone dip. It arrived as part of the McDonald's UK hot honey push in summer 2026, the same campaign that produced the Hot Honey McCrispy and the Mozzarella Dippers with Hot Honey, and it outlasted the two limited dips that launched next to it. Hot honey moved from American restaurant menus into British fast food quickly, turning up at Domino's on two pizzas and across the McDonald's range in the same year. The appeal is that it works on both savoury and fried items without needing a separate sweet option. McDonald's sells it against the Cheesy Potato Bites, the mozzarella range and the chicken sides, and the sweetness makes it the softer of the two hot dips on the menu next to the Fiery Buffalo. Listed as a limited-time item on the UK menu.
McDonald's went on 14 July, KFC on 20 July, Burger King on 21 July. Two of them picked a sauce. KFC threw out the bun and used naan bread instead.
