McDonald’s soft-serve base is blended with crushed KitKat wafer pieces and a swirl of chocolate sauce, then served in the usual McFlurry cup with a spoon. In practice, you get vanilla ice cream with crunchy wafer bits, thin chocolate coating, and pockets where the chocolate sauce streaks through the mix. Compared with other McDonald’s McFlurry flavours, it leans on texture more than extra dairy or fruit. The wafer pieces start crisp and soften as they sit in the ice cream, so each spoonful can feel a little different.
