Strawberry Sundae

What is it?

Vanilla soft serve in a cup, finished with strawberry sauce, is all there is to it. At McDonald's UK, this used to sit in the dessert range as a 99p option, alongside the toffee version, before both were removed in 2018. Soft serve gives the base its smooth, aerated texture, while the sauce brings a sweeter, slightly sharp fruit note that runs through the ice cream as it melts. Unlike the larger McFlurry line, there’s no mix-in, biscuit, or crunch here, just spoonable ice cream and topping.
