Three beef patties sit in a standard McDonald's bun with three slices of processed cheese, pickles, slivered onions, ketchup and mustard. Each layer follows the same pattern, so you get cheese between the patties rather than just on top. In the UK lineup, it sat above the Double Cheeseburger and below the Quarter Pounder in size and price. McDonald's added it in 2020 and removed it in June 2025, making it a relatively short-lived menu item. Compared with the Double, the extra patty added more meat and cheese but kept the same bun, which made the whole thing taller and messier to eat. It was built for appetite rather than elegance.
