Seasoned beef sits in a crisp corn shell with shredded lettuce, diced tomato and cheddar cheese. Built in the classic Taco Bell taco format, it’s assembled to order and usually wrapped for carrying. The shell is fried until brittle enough to crack when you bite in, while the filling stays fairly simple: seasoned mince, cool salad and grated cheese. Compared with some of Taco Bell’s loaded burritos and bigger box items, this one stays stripped back and hand-held, with the shell doing most of the textural work.
