Served in a long oval dish, this dessert pairs a split banana with scoops of ice cream, sauce, whipped cream and a cherry on top. It’s built like a banana split, only with Wimpy’s own name for the format, and it sits in the same old-school dessert lane as the Knickerbocker Glory from the brand’s past menu. Cold ice cream, soft banana and syrupy sauce give it the usual mix of creamy, fruity and sweet. The whipped cream sits on top rather than folded through, so each spoonful changes a bit as you work across the dish. It was discontinued in 2011.
