Mega Burger

What is it?

Stacked on a sesame bun, this burger brings multiple grilled beef patties together with cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and sauce. Wimpy seasons and griddles the patties in the same style used across its burger range, then builds upward until the layers need a firm grip and maybe a few napkins. It sat at the top of Wimpy’s UK menu as the chain’s largest burger offering, above its Quarterpounder line. The cheese sits between the patties rather than just on top, so the whole thing reads like a layered stack more than a single patty burger.
