Quarterpounder Club

What is it?

Built around a quarter-pound beef patty on a sesame bun, this Wimpy burger adds bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise in a club-sandwich style stack. It sits in the same family as the standard Quarterpounder, but with the bacon-and-cheese combination doing the extra work, and it was part of the brand’s regular UK menu before later simplification. The format is familiar fast-food territory: grilled beef, cooked bacon, melted cheese and cool salad ingredients, all assembled in a bun that can hold the lot without falling apart too quickly. In the current Wimpy lineup, the Quarterpounder Bacon & Cheese covers similar ground with a slightly different name and setup.
