What is it?

Family-sized pasta tubes sit in a creamy carbonara-style sauce with bacon pieces and a cheese topping. Sold as a frozen bake, it’s designed to be heated through in the oven until the sauce is bubbling and the top has browned. The format is closer to a tray bake than a saucy ready meal, so each serving comes out fairly self-contained. Aldi’s Cucina line uses this same straightforward freezer-to-oven approach across its pasta meals, but this one leans into carbonara’s familiar mix of eggy sauce, cheese, and cured pork. Compared with simpler pasta bakes in the range, it’s the richer, more assembled version.
