What is it?

Salmon fillet sits inside puff pastry with a cheese and dill filling, so you get flaky pastry, fish, and a rich herb sauce in one bake. Sold as a frozen oven meal, it’s meant to be cooked from frozen until the pastry is crisp and the salmon is hot through. Part of Aldi’s Specially Selected line, it’s a more composed format than a basic fish pie or plain fillet. The cheese and dill mixture does the work that a sauce would normally do, while the pastry seals everything in and browns in the oven.
