What is it?

Flaky pastry parcels filled with diced beef, vegetables and thick gravy come in a two-pack. Sold frozen, they’re meant to be baked in the oven until the pastry browns and the filling is piping hot. Each bake is a hand-sized, rectangular case rather than a pie with a lid, so the ratio of pastry to filling stays fairly even. Compared with some other Aldi frozen bakes, these sit in the simpler, meat-and-gravy end of the range. The filling is built around diced steak rather than minced meat, with the vegetables folded into the sauce.
