Creamy Cheese & Veg Pies

What is it?

Four individual pies, each in a pastry shell and filled with cheese, mixed vegetables and a creamy sauce. They’re sold frozen and baked from frozen, so the filling sets up as it heats while the pastry turns crisp at the edges. ASDA’s range has a lot of straightforward freezer staples, and these sit in the savoury pie section rather than the meal kits. You get the familiar combination of vegetables and cheese, but in a hand-sized format that’s easier to portion than a larger family pie.
