Thick-cut homestyle chips come in a 1.5kg frozen bag, ready for oven or air fryer cooking. These are the chunky, skin-off style, with a rougher edge than skinny fries and a softer centre once cooked through. Compared with thinner chips and fries in the range, these are the larger, homestyle version meant for side servings or bigger portions. Because of the thick cut, they need a longer cooking time than standard fries, usually around 25 to 30 minutes in a hot oven, flipped halfway through. Edges turn golden and slightly crunchy while the inside stays fluffy and starchy, giving you a chip that's closer to a chippy-style portion than a fast-food fry. Serve them with fish, pie, or a full English for maximum effect.
