Thick deep pan base, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella and two layers of pepperoni. Sold as a frozen pizza for oven baking, it comes in a round format with a deep, breadier centre than a thin-crust version. Compared with other ASDA pizzas, this one sits in the deep pan part of the range, where the crust is meant to hold more sauce and topping. It’s usually cooked from frozen until the cheese melts and the base is hot through, then sliced into wedges for serving.
