Seasoned Curly Fries

What is it?

Spiral-cut potato fries come in a seasoned coating that clings to the ridges and twists. They're sold frozen and cooked from frozen, usually in the oven, air fryer, or deep fryer, until the outside is crisp and the centre is soft. Compared with plain straight-cut chips in the frozen range, these bring more surface area, so the seasoning sits in every curl. The spice blend is savoury with a slight paprika warmth, giving each fry a more flavourful bite than unseasoned alternatives. Because of the spiral shape, they crisp unevenly in a good way, with some sections turning deeply golden while others stay softer. Serve them as a side with burgers or wraps, or pile them onto a plate with cheese sauce and jalapenos for loaded fries.
