Compared with Birds Eye’s cod fish fingers, they use haddock instead, which has a slightly sweeter, firmer flavour. The breadcrumb layer gives a dry, even finish rather than a batter-style shell, and the fish is meant to flake once cooked through. They sit in the same freezer-line territory as other Birds Eye fish fingers, just with haddock doing the work instead of cod.
