Thick-cut potato chips, sold frozen and meant for oven baking or deep-frying, with a rough, chunky shape that leaves plenty of soft centre under a crisp outer layer. Seasoned simply, so the potato stays front and centre without competing flavours getting in the way. Compared with thinner chips in the range, these are built for a bigger bite and a more uneven, craggy surface that catches oil and salt in all the right places. Cook from frozen until hot through and golden, usually around 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven. Each chip is cut thick enough that the inside stays fluffy and almost steamy when you break it open. They work alongside fish, pies, or burgers, anywhere you want a substantial chip rather than a skinny fry.
