Whole Scottish langoustine tails sit in a crisp breadcrumb coating, ready to cook from frozen. Usually sold in the frozen aisle, these wholetail pieces are the tail meat only, so there’s no shell to pick through. M&S uses Scottish langoustines here, rather than the chopped or formed seafood you sometimes see in cheaper scampi. Cook them in the oven or fryer until the crumb is golden and the shellfish is hot through. They’re part of M&S’s frozen seafood range, and sit closer to classic pub-style scampi than fish fingers or breaded prawns.
