Potato fries cut into a lattice shape, these frozen fries are made from sliced potatoes and cooked until crisp. The waffle cut gives more surface area than a straight chip, so you get a mix of crunchy edges and softer potato in the ridges. Keep them frozen, then cook from frozen in the oven or air fryer until hot through and browned at the edges. M&S also sells straight-cut chips and thicker fries, but this format is the one with the criss-cross pattern that catches seasoning and dips a bit differently.
