Spanish Jamon Croquetas with Aioli & Pecorino

What is it?

Crispy Spanish-style croquetas come filled with jamon, pecorino cheese and a creamy aioli on the side. They’re usually breaded and frozen, then heated in the oven until the coating firms up and the centre turns soft and sauce-like. Within Sainsbury’s frozen range, these sit closer to party snacks than a full meal, with the filling doing most of the work. The jamon brings the cured pork note, while the pecorino adds a salty, sheep’s milk edge and the aioli gives you something garlicky to dip into.
