What is it?

Individual potato gratins made with sliced potatoes and a blend of four cheeses, then baked until the top sets and browns. Sold in the frozen meals section, they come portioned for heating from frozen, usually in the oven, so the centre stays soft while the edges turn a little crisp. Within Waitrose’s frozen range, these sit closer to a side dish than a full meal.
