Chunky potato wedges with a seasoned coating, sold frozen for oven cooking. They’re cut into thick pieces, so the centre stays soft while the outside takes on more texture in the heat. Expect simple potato flavour with added seasoning rather than a batter or breadcrumb shell. In Waitrose’s frozen range, these sit closer to basic chips than to fries or hash browns, just with a wedge shape and a bit more surface area for browning. Cook from frozen and turn once during baking for even colour.
