Extra-large fish cakes with a chip shop-style batter coating, built around cod and potato. They come frozen and are usually oven-cooked or grilled from frozen, so the outside crisps up while the centre stays soft and flaky. Compared with smaller fish cakes in Young's Seafood's range, these are sized more like a main plate than a side. Each one combines flakes of white fish with mashed potato and seasoning, then gets a thicker, batter-like crumb that’s meant to echo a chippy counter.
