Cod and pollock fish cakes with a cheese filling sit in the freezer section, ready to cook from frozen. The breadcrumbed cakes are shaped around a centre that softens and turns molten as they heat through, with the fish mixed into the outer layer and the cheese kept inside. Young's Seafood uses the same melting-centre idea across a few frozen fish products, but here it’s packaged as a fish cake rather than a fillet or burger. Cook them in the oven, or until the coating is crisp and the middle is hot.
