Old Jamaica is a rum and raisin dark chocolate and one of the older surviving lines in the aisle. It's also an openly adult bar in a category that mostly isn't, which is a large part of why it has kept a following. Rum in chocolate is easier than rum in anything frozen. There's no water to speak of in a chocolate bar, so the alcohol has nothing to do to the setting behaviour, and the flavour can be carried in the raisins as well as in the chocolate itself. The raisins bring the acidity. Dark chocolate and dried fruit both run bitter and sweet at once, and the fruit is the only thing here doing anything sharp. 100g.
