Loaded Pepperoni Pizza

What is it?

There's no meat in it. The seasoning is vegetarian, and what carries the pepperoni is anise, smoked paprika, black and white pepper, clove and a smoke flavouring, which between them cover most of what makes a cured sausage recognisable without any of it being sausage. Tomato is the harder half. It's mostly water and acid, so what ends up on a chip is tomato powder doing the acidic work, paprika filling in the colour, and buttermilk powder standing in for the cheese. Loaded is part of the flavour name and not a range mark. This is one half of a pizza pair, sold alongside a Triple Cheese version. 180g.
