Sweet & Spicy sits inside the Flamin' Hot side of the Monster Munch range, and the name describes the order the flavours arrive in. Sweetness lands first, closer to a sweet chilli dip than to barbecue, before the chilli catches up and settles into a steady warmth at the back of the throat. The heat is gentler than the straight Flamin' Hot bag, which makes the sweetness easier to taste rather than something fighting the burn. Underneath it all sits the same baked maize claw that Monster Munch has always used, puffy enough to collapse in a couple of chews and porous enough to hold a heavy dusting of seasoning.
