Vintage cheddar and onion chutney flavour, crisped into kettle-style potato chips, sits in Sensations' more specific end of the cheese-and-onion spectrum. You get the sharper, more crumbly note of aged cheddar, then a sweet-tangy chutney character with a bit of vinegar and spice. Compared with standard cheese and onion crisps, it leans less on raw onion and more on a cooked, jammy flavour. In the Sensations range, it was later replaced by Mature Cheddar and Chilli, which took the cheese in a hotter direction. While it lasted, this was the more nuanced pairing, with the chutney adding depth that a plain onion seasoning couldn't match.
