Snickers White

What is it?

White chocolate has no cocoa solids in it, only cocoa butter, sugar and milk, so the coating brings no bitterness at all. In a bar already carrying nougat and caramel that removes the last thing pulling against the sugar except the peanuts. Which makes the peanuts more important here than in the original. They're doing all of the salt and all of the crunch, with nothing else in the bar to help. The pale coating also changes what the cut face looks like, since the nougat and caramel no longer sit against a dark outline. White chocolate is the harder coating to apply, too. It has no cocoa solids to hide scorching and it burns at a lower temperature, so the tolerances are tighter than for the milk version.
