Pickled Onion

What is it?

Alien-shaped corn snacks coated in a yellow-green seasoning, these come in the classic Space Raiders format and lean hard into tangy, vinegary onion. A light, crisp base gives a quick crunch that gives way to a sharp coating. Onion powder, salt, acids and savoury seasoning do most of the work, so the flavour hits fast and stays on the tongue. Compared with other flavours in the range, this one is usually the punchiest and most familiar on the rack. They're a budget snack sold in small bags, meant for eating straight from the packet, with that dusty seasoning leaving its mark on fingers as well as the palate.
