Hand-cooked potato crisps meet a Spanish-style seasoning here, with thick, uneven slices and a dry spice coating that clings to the folds. Paprika, smoke, salt and potato make up the core, so each crisp comes across as savoury and a little warm rather than sweet. Tyrrell's uses its familiar kettle-cooked format for this one, which puts it in the same family as the brand's other seasoned crisps. Compared with lighter-flavoured varieties, this leans harder on spice and smoke, while keeping the potato front and centre. You'll notice the reddish-orange dusting on your fingers after a handful, which is part of the appeal.
