What is it?

Yeast extract flavour meets Walkers' thin potato crisp, with that familiar dark, salty hit carried by umami and a faint roasted note. Sold in standard sharing and single-serve bags over the years, it sat in the main Walkers range for more than two decades before being discontinued. Unlike cheese and onion or ready salted, this crisp leans hard into the spread's fermented character rather than trying to soften it. It's a straightforward fried potato snack, seasoned to mimic toast with a thick layer of the stuff, and it was one of the more divisive flavours in the Walkers lineup. You either craved the dark, savoury punch or couldn't get past the first crisp.
