Caramello has been the caramel-filled corner of the Cadbury block range since the 1960s, and this Minis stick translates it into ice cream at roughly half the usual size. The centre is caramel flavoured rather than plain vanilla, and a Caramello syrup swirl runs through it, so the caramel arrives twice: once in the base and again in the ribbon. The coating is Dairy Milk milk chocolate, thick enough to snap. Because the stick is smaller, the ratio of shell to ice cream sits higher than on the full-size Dairy Milk sticks, which makes the chocolate the dominant flavour rather than a finish. They come six to a pack. Peters makes the Cadbury ice cream range under licence in Australia, which is why these sit in the freezer aisle rather than alongside the blocks.
