Cadbury's Roast Almond block has been a fixture of Australian chocolate aisles for decades, and this is the frozen version of it. The stick carries a plain vanilla centre, which leaves the coating to do the talking: Dairy Milk milk chocolate with roasted almonds pressed into it, so the nuts sit on the outside where they crack rather than being buried in the ice cream. Almonds make up 4.5% of the stick, and they're roasted rather than raw, which gives the shell a drier, toastier note than the straight Dairy Milk sticks in the same range. The vanilla underneath is deliberately unfussy, sweet and soft, with no swirl or inclusion competing with the coating. It's one of the newer additions to the Cadbury ice cream range, which Peters makes in Australia under licence rather than Cadbury making it themselves. Sold as a multipack of sticks.
