Most chocolate ice creams settle for cocoa in the base. This tub goes the other way and keeps the ice cream vanilla, then loads it with Dairy Milk pieces and runs a Dairy Milk core down the middle. That core is what separates it from a standard choc-chip vanilla. It's a soft chocolate centre rather than frozen-hard chunks, so it stays yielding straight from the freezer while the pieces through the rest of the tub stay firm. Two chocolate textures end up in the same spoonful. Sweetened condensed milk sits in the recipe, which is part of why the base reads as rich rather than icy. It's a 460ml tub, one of three Cadbury tubs Peters makes in Australia under licence, alongside Caramello and Caramilk.
