About as simple as a stick gets. Vanilla ice cream, a chocolate shell, and nothing else in it at all. The appeal is the contrast between the two rather than either on its own. A chocolate coating sets hard at freezer temperature and cracks on the first bite, and the soft ice cream immediately behind it is what makes that crack register. Take away either half and there's nothing left to notice. Coles sells these as a multipack in the plain own-brand line rather than under the Irresistible label. With no nuts, swirl or biscuit anywhere, the thickness of the shell and the vanilla underneath are the only variables.
