Boysenberry is a cross between raspberry, blackberry and loganberry, darker and less sharp than any of the three, and it turns up in Australian and New Zealand freezers far more than it does anywhere else. Here it goes over smooth vanilla as a sauce, with dark chocolate flakes against it. Dark rather than milk chocolate is the right pairing, since the berry is sweet enough on its own that a milk chocolate flake would flatten it instead of cutting through. The full-size cone gives the sauce more room to register than the Minis version of the same flavour does. Wafer cone and a chocolate tip at the base, as with everything else in the range.
