The cone the Drumstick name is built on, and the one every other flavour in the range is a variation of. Vanilla ice cream in a crisp wafer cone, chocolate topping and crushed peanuts over the crown, chocolate tip at the base. That tip is the detail that made the format work. Without it the last mouthful of any filled cone is dry wafer, and plugging the bottom with chocolate turns the weakest part of the eating into the strongest. Putting the peanuts on the crown rather than through the ice cream is the other structural decision. They stay dry and crunchy sitting on the coating, where folding them into the ice cream would soften them within days. It's the plainest thing Drumstick makes and the reference point for the rest.
