A licensed collaboration rather than a flavour invention, built around Krispy Kreme's Original Glazed, the plain ring doughnut the chain is known for. The slab is doughnut flavoured with an Original Glaze inspired syrup running through it. The Maxibon construction does the rest. One end is sandwiched between two golden biscuits, the other is dipped in glaze and covered in cookie crumbs. Glaze is a difficult thing to freeze, since the thin sugar shell on a fresh doughnut depends on being warm, so here it becomes a coating with crumb texture worked into it instead. Colours 160b and 150d sit in the ingredient list, which is what produces the pale gold that reads as doughnut rather than vanilla.
