Chocolate, That's Bananas

What is it?

Banana puree at 6% makes this the fruitiest pop Proud & Punch make, and the fruit is the base here rather than a flavour added to a chocolate one. Cocoa comes in at 1% with roast almond at 2%, so chocolate is the smaller partner despite leading the name. That's the right way round for frozen banana, which turns flat and slightly bitter if cocoa is pushed too hard against it. Coconut oil supplies the fat, with inulin, tapioca and corn starch handling the texture dairy would otherwise provide. Banana is one of the few fruits that freezes into something genuinely creamy on its own, which is why it shows up so often in plant based frozen desserts. Four pops to a pack.
