What is it?

Pine lime is an Australian freezer institution, and this is a plant based version built around a coconut cream centre rather than ice cream. The outside is fruit rather than flavouring. Apple juice leads at 40% with pineapple juice at 9%, and lime puree at 0.7% supplies the sour edge. Apple juice is doing what it usually does in fruit pops, providing sweetness and bulk cheaply enough that the more expensive juices can still be tasted. Lemon myrtle is the part worth noticing. It's a native Australian leaf with a citrus note sharper than lime itself, and it's what keeps this from reading as a straightforward pineapple pop. Coconut cream sits at 4.7% in the centre. Four pops to a pack.
