Calippo Original

What is it?

Push from the bottom and the orange-flavoured frozen fruit ice rises from the top of the signature tube as it softens. It's smooth rather than creamy, with a tangy citrus flavour that sits somewhere between orange cordial and frozen juice. No spoon needed, since the tube does all the work. Streets' Calippo line is mostly about the format, and this original version is the straightforward orange one. There's no dairy in the mix, just flavoured ice designed for eating cold and slowly. On a hot day it softens fast, so the pace of eating matters more than with most ice creams.
