A Solero inverts the usual coated stick. Instead of chocolate outside and ice cream within, the shell is a fruit ice and the centre is vanilla ice cream, so the cold, sharp layer arrives first and the creamy one follows behind it. Mango, passionfruit and peach make up that outer layer, tangy and icy against a milky middle. Fruit and cream works better in this order, since a fruit centre would be muted by a dairy shell wrapped around it. It's one of the few sticks in the Streets range with no chocolate anywhere in it, which leaves the fruit layer as the only thing providing contrast against the centre.
