The bar's two layers moved into a tub, where they become a swirl rather than a clean division. That changes the balance. On the bar, fruit and cream stay apart until they meet in the mouth, where in a tub they are partly blended already, so the mango reads softer and less sharp than it does on the stick. Mango is the flavour Weis built its name on, and the tub is the format that turns it into a shared dessert rather than a single serve. The fruit portion stays icier than the cream around it, which shows in the texture as well as the colour.
